truly captured the essence of quality craft beer and it's vibrant community!
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending FCBF 2025 at the super cool Klondyke venue in Kerava Finland— From barrel-aged stouts that felt like dessert in a glass to juicy NEIPAs that made my taste buds dance, this event was a beerventure worth remembering. The festival brought together some of the finest breweries from both Finland and the UK, each pouring their latest and greatest creations. It was like a friendly face-off between the two countries, showcasing both innovation and tradition in the craft beer world.

Klondyke in Kerava was the perfect venue—spacious, with a cozy brick lounge and an inviting atmosphere. It was the ideal setting for this craft beer celebration. Though it was a little chilly outside, the 7-minute walk from the Savio train station to the venue was a small price to pay ( trainride from Tampere 2h and from Helsinki 30min). Plus, Klondyke is quickly becoming a hub for some amazing breweries like Etko, Factory, and soon Salama. It was great to see such a dynamic space helping grow the Finnish beer scene. With easy access by train or car, it’s the kind of place that’s perfect also for events.
Saturday was special for me because I got to work at the festival! I realized just how much I miss the brewery industry—the energy, the passion, and the chance to be part of the amazing community. So, big thanks to the organizers for giving me the chance to be involved!
Now, onto the beers at Factory Craft Beer Festival. From rich barrel-aged stouts to refreshing IPAs, there was a beer for every palate. Here are some of my favorites:
Factory – Barrel Aged Morning Routines Coffee Stout (12%) A maple, cinnamon stout aged in whiskey barrels. Breakfast in a glass—but way better. Rich, smooth, and packed with coffee flavors. ☕🍩
Factory – Lady Cupcake (10%) A dessert beer if there ever was one! Thick, sweet stout with cocoa, caramel, and marshmallow. Like a boozy treat. 🍬
Tuju – Cadaver (12%) Rich, barrel-aged, and smooth stout with tons of chocolatey flavor. Dessert in a glass. 🍫
Track – Trinity (8.2%) This collab DIPA with Beak & Rivington was bursting with tropical fruit, dankness, and citrusy juiciness. Super pale and soft finish. 🍋🍍
Salama – Mutant Illuminati (10%) A hazy New England IPA that was a tropical fruit bomb with hazy depth. 🍍
Sureshot – Monkey Fighting Snakes (8%) A collab with Range Brewing, this Imperial DIPA had citrusy punch with a smooth finish. 🍋
Paihalas – Seabuckthorn Wild Ale (6.4%) Tart, crisp, and super fresh with seabuckthorn berries and oak. Totally unique! 🧡
Revenant – Crypt (7%) Crisp, smooth, and refreshing with juicy Citra hops 🥤
Polly’s x Sureshot – 7th Birthday (8.4%) A Double IPA that’s all about tropical fruit—pineapple, coconut, mango, and lime. Party in a glass. 🥭
Mallassepät – Way of the West Coast (8%) Piney, resinous, and bold with a clean finish. A classic West Coast IPA. 🍻
Beak – Lilta (8%) Pungent and juicy with papaya, ganja, and red grapefruit flavors. A bold Double IPA. 🍊
Rivington – Krampus (8%) A hop monster with tropical fruit and dank, juicy flavors. 😋
Beyond the beers, what made FCBF 2025 stand out was the community. Craft beer festivals are all about great beers and great people, and this one didn’t disappoint. It was awesome chatting with brewers other beergeeks and just soaking in all the positive vibes. They nailed it with the event’s smooth flow, and the food (pizza and burgers!) was just what we needed after all those brews.
If you missed FCBF 2025, you definitely missed a memorable event - and I can’t wait for next year! If you’re a fan of craft beer, make sure you mark your calendars for next time—you won’t want to miss it.
Big thanks to all the breweries for sharing their passion and creativity—you never know what new flavors you’ll discover!
