A Weekend of delicious Brews, food and fun Moments
This past weekend was so much fun! The much-anticipated Craft Beer Helsinki 2025 festival took place at Wanha Satama, and it was everything a craft beer lover could hope for and more. Friday and Saturday pouring behind the taps with Bocks Brewery, tasted some incredible beers, delicious food, and had some unforgettable moments.

A Celebration of Craft Beer
Craft Beer Helsinki is a staple on the beer festival calendar every year, usually kicking off with the winter edition in March, followed by a summer edition in June. The festival is held at Wanha Satama, an over 120-year-old brick harbour building on the beautiful Katajanokka peninsula. It's the perfect setting for this kind of event, with its historical charm and multiple rooms to explore. Getting there is a breeze — whether you take the tram from Helsinki city center (just a 10-15 minute ride) or even hop on a ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki and take a quick 5-minute walk from the port to the event. This year, the festival brought together 25 breweries from 10 different countries, each showcasing their best brews. The atmosphere was lively, with beer enthusiasts from all over Finland and beyond coming together to sip, taste, and share their love for craft beer. The breweries were divided into two rooms, making it easy to navigate. There was plenty of seating, and outside you found some food trucks that were serving up burgers, tacos, and more — all the perfect pairing with the beers! But it wasn’t just about the beer. The festival also featured an exciting range of non-alcoholic brews, whisky and ciders.
The Craft Beer Community
As I made my way around the festival, I had the pleasure of tasting some absolutely incredible beers. Having the chance to pour Bocks Brewery’s beers behind the taps for two days was an absolute blast. It was also great to reconnect with some old friends from different breweries I hadn’t seen in a while — we shared lots of laughs, and I had a chance to meet new brewery staff and, of course, some passionate beer nerds.
What truly makes Craft Beer Helsinki unique is the community. It’s not just about the beers; it’s about the people who make it all possible — the brewers, the festival organizers, and of course, the beer lovers. There’s something magical about being surrounded by folks who share the same passion and enthusiasm for good beer. It was an absolute pleasure to catch up with fellow beer enthusiasts, taste new creations, and connect with the talented brewers who make it all happen.
Wrapping Up
As I reflect on the weekend, I can honestly say it was one of the most fun beer events I’ve attended in a while - maybe also because i was working in the middle of the buzz. Whether it was chatting with brewers, pouring beers, or simply soaking in the overall vibe of the festival, it was a weekend of pure craft beer joy. The combination of amazing brews, delicious food, and incredible people makes Craft Beer Helsinki a must-attend event for every craft beer enthusiast in Finland.
A huge thank you to everyone who made Craft Beer Helsinki 2025 possible. Looking forward to summer edition already, but until then, here’s to more incredible craft beer moments!
