Hello, fellow hoppyrescuer!
My first blog post, how exciting!

who?
I'm Nadja, someone who enjoys every sip of beer. Love to explore breweries & craft beer events around the world. The sense of community among beer lovers is something that I'm infatuated with.
My usual go to beers are different kind of IPAs, but can't really say no to a delicious smooth double barrel aged imperial stout.
Been working with food & beverage all my life, latest been marketing and sales at breweries & distributors in Finland.
hoppyrescue?
The idea of Hoppyrescue and a beer blog has been brewing on my mind for a long time.
This has definitely dragged on too long, but it's never too late to realize your dreams!
Along the way, there have been many variables, but I've always worked with food and beverages. My dream is to be able to focus on the world of craft beer and share this journey with you.

The name 'Hoppyrescue' comes from the fact that running a small brewery and being in this industry can be challenging, especially in Finland right now. Costs are rising, and this is one of the many reasons that many breweries have had to close. I want to support the development of craft breweries and help them survive together with other hoppyrescuers.
Let's guide consumers into the world of beer by supporting craft breweries,
on a 'hop rescue mission', so to speak.

responsible drinking
To clarify, my beer blog is not about excessive drinking and getting drunk. Our health should be a priority. I work out often and love to do hikes wherever i go, and that's why non-alcoholic beers also interest me a lot. Trends are also showing that sales of non-alcoholic beers are increasing, i'm definitely going to dig into that later on. Let's enjoy different beers in moderation together.
On this blog I´m going to write about the world of craft beer, if you didn´t get it yet.
I love travelling, exploring beer cultures and trends. Visiting breweries, beerfestivals, craft pubs and shops. This of course also includes domestic tourism in Finland, where I visit Finnish breweries and craft pubs. I'll be tasting some delicious beers and share stories with other beergeeks around the world. Sometimes I'll also share my analyzing thoughts on the industry and trends. If you're also interested in being part of the 'hop rescue mission' Then please follow my blog and hopefully we'll be in touch and meet up for a pint CHEERS!
